EPPHA POINT RULES - 2010
1. For Hunter divisions (except Baby Green/Young Hunter), the FIRST OVER FENCES class will count towards EPPHA high score awards. For Baby Green/Young Hunter, ALL classes will count due to limited number of shows offering this division in latter half of the year.
2. For Jumper divisions, ALL classes will count towards EPPHA high score awards.
3. For Short Stirrup Equitation and Beginner Rider Equitation, the walk, trot, canter class will count towards EPPHA high score awards.
4. At the EPPHA Benefit horse shows in August 2010, ALL classes will count towards EPPHA high score awards (No champion or reserve champion points).
5. For Green, Small, Medium and Large Pony Hunter, Small and Large Junior Hunter, Amateur Owner Hunter (3’3” and 3’6”) and Green Hunter divisions ONLY - Points determined by Show Rating and # in first over fences class.
6. For Pre-Children's Hunter Pony/Horse, Children's Hunter Pony/Horse, Pre-Adult Hunter, Adult Amateur Hunter, Low Hunter, Pre-Green Hunter, Modified Hunter, Baby Green Hunter, Short Stirrup Equitation, Beginner Rider Equitation, Children's/Adult Jumper and Pony Jumper - Points ALWAYS based on "C" rating and determined by # in first over fences class.
7. For divisions which may be sectioned by age (Pre-Children’s Horse 14&under or 15 to 17, Children’s Hunter Horse 14&under or 15 to 17, Adult Amateur 18 to 35 or 36&over), points in a division section will be credited to the horse based on the age of the rider. If division sections at a show are combined, points will still be credited to the appropriate division section based on the rider’s age.
8. For divisions which may be sectioned by size (Small or Large Junior Hunter, Small/Medium or Large Pre-Children’s Pony, Small/Medium or Large Children’s Pony), points in a division section will be credited to the horse/pony based on its size. If division sections at a show are combined, points will still be credited to the appropriate division section based on the horse’s/pony’s size.
9. If there are less than 3 participants in a class, NO points will be given for that class.
